The Oakland Police Department said at least four people were struck by bullets Monday night inside RingCentral Coliseum following a post-game fireworks show after the Oakland Athletics’ 5-1 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays.

According to a Tuesday news release from the Athletics, police believe the injuries were the result of “celebratory gunfire.”

“Following last night’s Oakland A’s post-game fireworks show, officers were notified of a possible shooting victim inside the ballpark,” the release said. “During the preliminary investigation, officers located three fans struck by bullet fragments from what appears to be celebratory gunfire throughout the city of Oakland.”

The release said a fourth victim later walked in to an area hospital. All four victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries, according to authorities. The A’s said Oakland police will work with ballpark security to “ensure the safety of all those attending future A’s games at the Coliseum.”

The Oakland Police Department and Crime Stoppers of Oakland are offering a $20,000 reward for any information that leads to an arrest in the shootings, which are still under investigation. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the department’s Felony Assault Unit at 510-238-3426.

Monday’s shooting capped off a holiday weekend of violence throughout the U.S. According to the New York Times, authorities in roughly a dozen cities reported shootings over the weekend, with most of them occurring on July 4. That includes a mass shooting at a parade in a suburb of Chicago, where a gunman killed six people and left about three dozen others injured.
