Man gunned down in Morvant

Police are investigating after a 27-year-old man was gunned down in Morvant last night.
The deceased has been identified as Kareem Patrick, of Cipriani Street, Morvant.
Loop News was told that around 7.20 pm yesterday, residents of the area heard several gunshots.
Upon investigating they found Patrick’s body lying on the ground in the vicinity of Hunt T’s food establishment.
The police were notified and a team of officers led by ASP Williams, Sgt Ramsumair, Sgt Murray, Sgt Pierre, Sgt Mohammed, PC Lopez, PC Thomas, and PC Bharath, among others, responded.
19 spent shells were found on the scene.
